Az éj pásztor csendben,
Alig ég egy kis világ.
Mária szülte, hogy élj,
A föld és ég Urát,
És új élet virrad,
Virrad ma ránk.

  Szüless meg bennem,
  Ragyogjon szívemben a fény,
  Betlehemi csillag,
  Bolyongó életem egén!
  Barlang lelkem Téged arra kér:
  Szállást itt vegyél,
  Örök békém, örömöm Te legyél!

Az éj pásztor csendben,
Alig ég egy kis világ.
Mária szülte, hogy élj,
A föld és ég Urát,
És új élet virrad,
Virrad ma ránk.
