              1. Proč posloucháš svůdný
hlas pokušení?
Hřích dovede spoutat,
pláč pak v srdci zní.
Buď ve víře stálý,
máš v Ježíši cíl,
vždy důvěřuj Pánu,
chce, bys věrně žil.

  Ref.: Sílu Spasitel dá ti,
  radost, pokoj ti vrátí,
  pojď, vždyť doba se krátí,
  přijde v slávě své Pán.

2. Zlá společnost svádí
jak v Edenu had,
však poznáš, že málo
jen může ti dát.
Co čisté je, miluj,
co pravda je, vem,
hleď na Krista Krále,
máš záchranu v něm.

3. Bůh vítězství dává,
též můžeš je mít,
pak korunu slávy
od Ježíše vzít.
Tak vzepři se zlému,
dá sílu ti Pán,
s ním vejdeš pak jistě
tam do nebes bran.

  Ref.: Sílu Spasitel dá ti,
  radost, pokoj ti vrátí,
  pojď, vždyť doba se krátí,
  přijde v slávě své Pán.
