              Tänne, Jeesus, tulimme
pyhää sanaas
kuullaksemme.
Ole itse kanssamme,
siunaa sana
sieluillemme.
Irrota nyt
maasta mielet,
kiitokseesi
käännä kielet.

Soaistu on järkemme,
synnin sumu
sielun peittää.
Siis, oi Jeesus, valaise,
auta Hengelläsi meitä.
Uudeksi luo
sydämemme,
että sanaas tottelemme.
