              Taivaan kellot
soikoot!
Riemu verraton,
tuhlaaja kun
kotiin palajaa.
Tiellä Isä armas
vastassa jo on,
sylihinsä
häntä halajaa.

  Siellä enkellaulut
  kaikuvat,
  suloisasti harput
  sointuvat.
  Niin kuin vetten
  pauhu valtavasti, oi,
  lunastettuin
  kiitosvirsi soi.

Taivaan kellot
soikoot!
Riemu verraton,
sillä sovinnon
sai syntinen.
Löytänyt jo paimen
lampahansa on,
kotiinsa sen
kantaa riemuiten.
