Tak długo w tym świecie błądziłem,
Zewsząd grzechu otaczał mnie mrok,
Aż Jezus, mój Pasterz mnie znalazł
I do domu skierował mój krok.

  / Twoja dobroć i łaska
Wciąż pójdą za mną w ślad
Aż po kres, aż po kres moich dni /x2
Zamieszkam tam, w domu Pańskim na długie czasy
I z obfitego Jego stołu będę jeść.
  Twoja dobroć i łaska
Wciąż pójdą za mną w ślad,
Aż po kres, aż po kres moich dni

Gdym zmęczony, posila mą duszę,
Prostuje labirynt mych dróg.
Na pasze zielone prowadzi,
Bym odpocząć u wód cichych mógł.

Kiedy pójdę przez śmierci dolinę,
Nie będę niczego się bać.
Bo Jezus mój Pasterz najlepszy,
Przy mym boku obiecał wciąż stać.
