              1. Takého ja Priateľa mám,
ktorý pri mne vždycky stál,
spoľahnúť sa smiem na neho,
za mňa seba v obeť dal.
Svoju krv keď za mňa vylial,
spasenie mi vydobyl,
na golgotskom kríži zomrel,
aby som raz večne žil.

2. Jeho lásku neochvejnú
nedocením nikdy dosť,
poslušnosťou jemu túžim
odvďačiť sa za milosť.
Nechcem ísť už vlastnou cestou,
ale v jeho šľapajach,
viem, že stále bude pri mne,
nemusím mať nikdy strach.

3. Ten môj priateľ má moc všetku
na nebi i na zemi,
nado mnou bdie neustále,
všetko dobré praje mi.
V jeho sile chcem ísť smelo
stále vpred až k výšinám,
verím, že raz dovedie ma ta,
kde Kráľom on je sám.
