              Tam k domovu vzhůru
mne táhne to výš,
pryč ze světa,
vzhůru v tu nebeskou říš!
Nic neztiší touhu,
jež v srdci mém jest;
/: já k Otci chci, domů,
tam cíl je mých cest! :/

Proč smutná jsi ve mně,
ó, proč, duše má?
Což nevíš, že svět tobě
neklid jen dá?
Kdo přispěchá na pomoc
v úzkostech tvých,
/: když vlny zle dmou se
a loď tvá je v nich? :/

Tam v nebeské vlasti
slz nebude již,
tam pouť naše skončí,
tam složíme kříž,
tam Spasitel po boji
uvítá nás,
/: tam uzříme Boha,
zdroj světla a krás! :/
