              Uram! Nem csodát kérek,
Nem látomásért fohászkodom,
csak erőt adj nekem a hétköznapokhoz!
Tudom, utad nem nehéz,
ha bízom benned, kezed fogom.
Vezesd életem, Te légy csillagom.

  Legyél az Út, te légy!
  Legyél a híd feléd.
  Az örök napfény, erő,
  mely melegít, s hevít.
  Te vagy a forrás, iszom
  Te vagy a kéz, fogom
  Te vagy a nappal, remény,
  Te vagy a fény.

  Te vagy a kezdet, vezess!
  Te vagy a vég, szeress!
  Te vagy, ki táplálsz, kenyér
Te vagy, ki véd, s segít.
  Te vagy az ajtó, nyitod,
  ha zörgetek neked.
Segíts az úton, Uram! Feléd megyek.
