Te megtörted az éjt, mint a nap,
szívem szerelmed gyógyította.
Mikor a nagy terhet nem bírtam már,
válladra vettél, s így vittél tovább.

  Nagy szerelmed
  elmossa a bűnt,
  hordod a világ súlyát.

  Szeretlek, Benned van
  minden reményem,
  Jézus Krisztus,
  vonj magadba, vedd életem!

A magas hegyekre állsz velem,
s a völgyeken is átkelek Veled.
Egyszülötted adtad értem,
a kegyelem csak, melyben bízom én!

  Imádlak én, éneklem
  teljes szívemből:
  Nélküled nem élhetek,
  én mindenem, ... ó, Uram!
