Napriek vodám, čo sa na mňa valia
napriek túžbam, čo sa rúcajú
moja chvála bude stále znieť,
moje srdce volá:

  Nech znie dnes pieseň nová,
  zdvihni ma k nebu znova
  nech počujem zas slová pravdivé
veď ma do hlbín k Tebe,
  do Tvojej lásky Pane,
  nech horím vášňou ako prvýkrát.

  Temnota padá, temnota padá,
keď Kráľ so svetlom vstupuje k nám
Moc klamstiev padá, moc klamstiev padá
keď Kráľ, so svetlom vstupuje k nám.
