              Ten nejlepší přítel jest Ježíš,
tu převzácnou zkušenost mám
a tobě chci, kdo o tom nevíš,
jen radit: ó, zkus jej sám!

  Pojď každý, zkus jej sám,
  pojď každý, zkus jej sám,
  že nejlepší přítel jest Ježíš,
  pojď každý zkusit jej sám!

On na cestu uved' mne k sobě
a krok co krok se mnou jde dál.
On strážcem mým je proti zlobě,
jsem šťasten, proč bych se bál?

On hotov byl dát za mne sebe,
když za můj hříchměl přijít trest,
On hotov je spasit i tebe,
pojď k Němu, jím dej se vést!
