              Ten tú piedad de mí, Señor;
Misericordia ten.
Mis rebeliones, ¡oh, mi Dios!,
Borradas siempre estén.

  Lávame, ¡oh!, lávame,
  Y más blanco que la nieve
  Yo seré, sí, por la sangre
  De Jesús.

De mis pecados límpiame,
De toda mi maldad;
Conforme a tu gran compasión,
Lávame más y más.

Pecado he sólo contra ti,
Tus juicios puros son;
Te reconozco, justo aquí
En mi condenación.
