              Terbitlah kini sang matahari
sebagai tanda hari yang baru.
Seluruh alam di terangi
dan kegelapan sudah berlalu.

  Lebih dahulu kita lakukan:
  Mengucap syukur kepada Tuhan,
  karena Dia yang menjadikan
  malam gelap dan siang terang

Seluruh satwa riang bernyanyi
menyambut pagi dengan ceria
Kita pun patut bert'rima kasih
kepada Allah Maha Pencipta.

  Lebih dahulu kita lakukan:
  Mengucap syukur kepada Tuhan,
  karena Dia yang menjadikan
  malam gelap dan siang terang

Apapun juga kita lakukan
di dalam tugas dan tutur kata,
kita lakukan di dalam Tuhan
sambil bersyukur kepada Allah.

  Lebih dahulu kita lakukan:
  Mengucap syukur kepada Tuhan,
  karena Dia yang menjadikan
  malam gelap dan siang terang
