              Tuyo soy, Jesús, ya tu voz oí,
Luz y gracia fue para mí;
Mas en brazos de fe anhelo subir,
Y más cerca estar de ti.

  Más cerca, cerca de tu cruz,
  Llévame, ¡oh Salvador!
  Más cerca, cerca de tu cruz,
  Do salvaste al pecador.

A seguirte, Jesús, me consagro hoy,
Constreñido por tu amor;
Y gozoso mi ser entero doy
Por servir a mi Señor.

¡Oh! cuán pura y santa delicia es
Delante de ti estar.
Y en la dulce y ferviente oración
Al Amigo fiel hablar.

Del amor divino jamás sabré
La inmensa profundidad.
Hasta que con Jesús descansaré
En la gloria celestial.
