              1. Tvůj den se zas ke konci sklání,
já chci Ti zpívat píseň chval
za mnohá Tvoje požehnání,
jež v dnešní den jsem opět vzal.
Dal jsi všem hojnost svého klidu
a slovo pravdy dal jsi nám,
svou ruku otevřel jsi lidu
a uvedl jej v lásky chrám.

2. Den, kdy jsi, Bože, skončil dílo,
je památkou na stvoření.
Ten den je pro mne novou silou,
je Tvého lidu znamení.
V tom dni se ke svým dětem skláníš
a hojný stůl jim prostíráš,
jim žehnáš a před zlým je chráníš,
co dobré je, to vždy jim dáš.

3. Ten den se již ke konci chýlí,
v něm duši mou jsi občerstvil.
Mé přijmi díky, Bože milý,
a k další cestě dej mi sil.
Mně dopřej, Pane, znovu státi
na prahu příští soboty
a každý týden znovu bráti
z pokladů Tvojí dobroty.
