              Ježiš, dávno to už viem,
že si verný Pán,
že na kríži si všetko dal,
až tak si o mňa stál.

Len kvôli Tebe som
a zmysel bytia poznať smiem,
tak o Tebe dnes spievať chcem,
nech celý svet to vie.

Že Tvoja láska ma našla,
Tvoja spása ma zdvihla,
Tvoja milosť sa ma dotkla,
nový život mám.

A Tvoja dobrota ma drží,
Tvoja vernosť sa ma nevzdá,
Tvoja nádej vpred ma ženie,
si môj verný Pán.

Len kvôli Tebe som,
kvôli Tebe smiem,
kvôli Tebe mám,
kvôli Tebe viem.
