              Ty malé mesto Betlehem
si ticho spočívaš.
A nevieš ani netušíš,
jak blízko Pána máš.

Hľa, večné svetlo žiari
do tvojej temnoty.
A človečenstvu prináša
dar Božej dobroty.

Tu narodil sa Kristus, Pán,
dnes svedčia anjeli.
Ich spevy v noci pastierom
tak slávne zazneli.

Ranné hviezdy neba,
znať dajte drahú zvesť.
Nech ľudia Bohu za ten dar
hneď vzdajú chválu česť.
