                Tyle wojen wokół nas,
I każdy czegoś bardzo boi się,
  Ja chcę byś był gotowy.
  Śmierć króluje wokół nas,
Głód też zbiera wielkie żniwo swe,
  Ja chcę byś był gotowy,
  Tam nie możesz zmienić się,
  Jezus idzie i zostaniesz sam.

Dwoje razem w łożu śpi,
Lecz tylko jedno weźmie z ziemi Pan,
Ja chcę byś był gotowy.
Z dwóch idących drogą swą,
Jeden tylko przejdzie niebios próg,
Ja chcę byś był gotowy.
Tam nie możesz zmienić się,
Czemuś dotąd ślepym był?
Tak mówi Pan, posłuchać chciej,
Jezus idzie i zostaniesz sam.
