Tégy engem békéd eszközévé! Hol gyűlölet van, oda szeretetet vigyek.
Hol neheztelés, békességet, hol széthúzás, egységedet.
Tégy engem békéd eszközévé! A kétkedés helyett hitet vigyek.
A kétségbeesés helyett reményt, a sötétségbe fényedet.

Ó Mester, add, hogy vígasztaljak mást,
és ne csak magamnak keressek vigaszt!
  Legyek megértő, ne csak megértett,
  szeressek, ahogy Te szerettél minket!

Tégy engem békéd eszközévé,
mert ha megbocsátunk, nyerünk bocsánatot!
Ha adunk, akkor kapunk igazán,
és ha meghalunk, kapunk örök életet!
