              Un buen Amigo hallé, - Mi buen Jesús,
Su amor no perderé, - Mi buen Jesús.
Si amigos y solaz - Aquí no encuentro más.
Me brinda eterna paz - Mi buen Jesús.

Pobre y débil seré, - Mi buen Jesús,
Mas sostendrá mi fe - Mi buen Jesús;
Él me socorrerá, - Su brazo cerca está,
Y gracia me dará - Mi buen Jesús.

Es el mundo mortal, - Mi buen Jesús,
Y en el juicio final, - Mi buen Jesús;
¡Oh, qué placer sin par - Allí a mi Rey mirar,
Su gloria celebrar! - Mi buen Jesús.
