              Un regard sur ta croix sanglante,
Jésus, fait déborder mon cœur
D'amour et de douleur poignante,
D'amour et d'éternel bonheur.

Tu seras seul toute ma gloire,
Car tout ce dont je me vantais
M'empêcherait encor de croire
Qu'en ta mort seule j'ai la paix.

Te donnerais-je quelques larmes,
Quelques soupirs et quelque amour ?
Devant ta croix je rends les armes
Prends-moi tout entier dès ce jour.

A tes pieds, mon Sauveur, je jette
Ce que mon cœur aime le plus ;
Oui, prends mon idole secrète ;
Tu seras mon trésor, Jésus !
