              Už slnko zašlo za hory,
už pokoj vôkol táborí
a polia, lúky, les i sad
idú sa k spánku ukladať.

Už sadá tôňa večerná
a hviezda z neba pozerá,
že deti spať sa hotujú
a Bohu vrúcne ďakujú.

Ó dobrotivý Bože náš,
čo k všetkým veľkú lásku máš Ty chránil si nás celý deň. Buď vďaka za to Tebe len.
