              Väistyi yö ja
päivä koitti,
nousi kirkas aurinko.
Jeesus tuonen
vallat voitti.
Kuolleista Hän nousi jo.
Riemuvoitto valkeuden,
voitto pyhän Karitsan!
Ovet aukes vankeuden,
sortui valta kuoleman.

Pimeyden henkivallat,
synti, kuolo, maailma,
kaikki ovat voittajalla,
Jeesuksella, saaliina.
Siunaus ja viisauskin,
kunnia ja ylistys,
nyt on Hänen,
Hänen yksin
valta, majesteettius!

Mun, oi Jeesus,
verin ostit,
perinnökses lunastit.
Perhekuntaas
köyhän nostit,
sukuun suureen korotit.
Ylösnousemuksessasi
joka päivä mulle suo
uusi voima, uusi mieli,
pyhä, puhdas henki luo.
