              Pane, v kríža blízkosti
záchrana je moja.
Tam sa, v zdroji milosti,
rany hriechu zhoja.

V kríži len, v kríži len
  spása je aj sláva.
Viem, že v ňom mi Tvoja dlaň
  z lásky život dáva.

Láska v kríži zjavená
raz ma v biede našla,
dušu svetlom zaliala,
hrôza noci zašla.

Preto z kríža blízkosti
nedaj sa mi vzdialiť,
v jeho tôni uč ma žiť,
Tvoju obeť chváliť!

Blízko kríža zostať chcem
v dôvere sťa dieťa,
tam, kde sľuby Tvojich slov
nádejou mi svietia.
