              V nádhernej noci Boh zjavil
mi dobrotu svoju nesmiernu
v Dieťati slávenom anjelmi
a svetlom zahnal no temnú,
to svetlo nás osvecuje
aj slnka jas prevyšuje.

Ó duša, k svetlu ponáhľaj sa,
nestrať lúč z neho jediný,
z maštaľky biednej Jeho krása
šíri sa v svete končiny,
premáha všetku pekla moc,
tmu hriechu, zatratenia noc.

V tom svetle sa ti zjaví
jasne blažená sláva večnosti,
keď slnko, mesiac, hviezdy
krásne pominú v tejto časnosti.
To Svetlo svojím žiarením
bude nám večným spasením.

Ježiši, jasné slnko Vianoc,
osvieť ma svojou dobrotou,
vzbuď v srdci túžbu
a daj pomoc i mne k novému životu,
v ktorom budem preniknutý
svetlom, čo si priniesol Ty.
