              Veríme vo všemocného
Otca, i vševedúceho,
On stvoril nebo s hviezdami,
našu zem s úrodami.

Veríme i v Syna Jeho,
Spasiteľa jediného,
Duchom Svätým počatého,
z Panny narodeného.

Pod Pilátom umučený
zomrel a bol pochovaný;
potom do pekiel zostúpil,
svojich verných vykúpil.

Ježiš Kristus Nazaretský,
ktorý umrel za nás všetkých,
tretieho dňa vstal víťazne.
Do neba vstúpil slávne.

Odtiaľ v sláve na súd príde,
živých mŕtvych súdiť bude,
ó, príď, Sudca spravodlivý,
a buď nám milostivý.

Veríme v Ducha Svätého,
cirkev posväcujúceho,
v nej je spoločenstvo svätých,
v Krista Pána veriacich.

Veríme, že len z milosti,
z Kristových zásluh, hodností
máme hriechov odpustenie,
tela z mŕtvych vzkriesenie.

I v život večný veríme,
ktorý v Kristu dostaneme; On
zhasil pekelný plameň;
vyznajme spolu: Amen!
