Viacej ako dobrý Priateľ,viacej ako život sám
si mi, Spasiteľu drahý,aké šťastie, že Ťa mám!

S Tebou len, s Tebou len,s Tebou len, s Tebou len
celou cestou k sláve nebatúžim kráčať s Tebou len!

Posmech, pohanenie, bolesť,znášať bez odporu chcem,
vzdám sa vďačne svetskej slávy,keď len s Tebou chodiť smiem.

Veď ma dolinami, tieňom,búrkou života ma nes
do tých príbytkov, čo chystáš,kde len vierou bývam dnes.
