              Vzácna to a veľká radosť,
že Ježiš je priateľ náš,
že môžeme každú žalosť
Jemu predniesť v modlitbách!

Často v rôznom nepokoji
márne sa tu trápime,
pretože v života boji
o pomoc neprosíme!

Skúšky všetky, pokúšania,
hriechy a bremená bied,
nesme pred tvár svojho Pána
s vrúcim vzdychom modlitieb!

Kde sa nájde v sveta časti
priateľ rovný Pánovi?
Len Pán pozná naše strasti
a pomôcť je hotový!

Keď sme slabí, preťažení
pod bremenom starostí,
Ježiš vždy je verne s nami,
vzývajme Ho v úzkosti!

Keď priatelia opustia nás
a niet v svete blízkeho,
modlime sa! Veď v každý čas
máme pomoc u Neho!
