              Vzácnu radosť v duši máme,
Ježiš že je Priateľ náš,
Jemu všetky svoje žiale
môžeme niesť v modlitbách.
V rôznom častom nepokoji
márne sa len trápime,
lebo v každodennom boji
málo k Nemu voláme.

Skúšky, pády, pokúšania,
trápenia a ťarchy bied
nesme pred tvár nášho Pána
s vrúcnym vzdychom modlitieb!
Priatelia keď zradia náhle,
niet už v svete blízkeho,
modlime sa neustále,
máme pomoc u Neho.

„Poďte ku mne preťažení,"
tým, čo lkajú, vraví Pán.
„Poďte prácou unavení,
Ja vám odpočinok dám!"
S vierou priviňme sa k Nemu,
v skúškach cestou životom,
k Priateľovi najlepšiemu,
spásu máme iba v Ňom!
