              Vzbuď ducha dávnych svedkov, Pane,
čo Sion verne strážili
a vo dne, v noci, neúnavne
o Tebe smelo svedčili,
nech mocne hlas ich svetom znie
a ľudstvo k Tebe privedie.

Daj, nech Tvoj oheň čím skôr vzplanie,
ožiari každý sveta kraj;
na žatvu svoju mnohých, Pane,
Ty pracovníkov vysielaj,
veď málo ich je, vidíš sám,
nuž pomôž, veď si žatvy Pán.

Zjav slovo svoje mnohým ľuďom,
vo viere predkov nech stoja,
daj zvíťaziť nad každým bludom,
praj cirkvi svojej pokoja
a láskou podmaň celý svet
pre mena svojho slávu, česť.

A daj, nech pravda Tvojho slova
prenikne v každý sveta kút,
nech pohrnie sa húfne znova
ku Tebe, Pane, verný ľud,
nech zrno Tebou zasiate
prináša klasy bohaté.

Ty slávne dielo skončíš iste,
veď Sudca si a Spasiteľ;
hoc obzory sú ešte hmlisté,
za nimi predsa večný cieľ
vo viere jasne vidíme.
A Ty dáš viac, než prosíme.
