              Upieram zrak na ťažký kríž,
kde krvácal za mňa Ježiš.
Klince v ranách, potupný smiech,
môj Záchranca nesie môj hriech.

Obviazaný v náruči sĺz,
uložený smrti do rúk,
kameňom hrob privalený,
Mesiáš sám opustený.

Ref.:
Ó vzdáme česť Tebe Boh náš Pán,
nech chvála znie zo všetkých strán,
už neskončí pieseň našich chvál,
ó Boh, ó Boh náš Kráľ.

Na tretí deň na svitaní,
Syn neba vstal, bol vzkriesený.
Ó kde je smrť, ten osteň tvoj,m
nebo volá Boh vyhral boj!

On príde späť, v sláve s mocou,
žiariaci Kráľ prenikne tmou,
medzi svätých sa postavím,
na Kristov trón navždy hľadím.
