              Wonderbare Koning,
Heerser oor u skepping,
ons bring U ons lofgesange.

Deur u goedheid, Vader,
kan ons tot U nader -
U's ons diepste hartsverlange.

Laat die lied wat ons bied,
  opstyg na u woning,
  Wonderbare Koning!

Loof Hom, hemelboë!
Loof Hom, berge en dale!
Daar's geen einde aan sy werke.

Loof, my siel, die Here!
Bring Hom dank en ere!
Hy is die onmeetlik' sterke.

  Hef omhoog hart en oog!
  Wie kan ooit op aarde,
  Heer, u prys na waarde?
