              Ylistäkäämme
Ylkäämme Jeesusta,
vanhat ja nuoret
sanansa neuvoista,
armonsa aarteista.

Taivaat ja mailma
täynnä on armoaan.
Köyhänä saapui
tänne Hän lapsiaan
rikkaiksi saattamaan.

Nöyrästi aivan
kipumme
kantoi Hän,
tuomion, vaivan,
toi meille elämän
iäti kestävän.

Vainon Hän kärsi,
ristin ja kuoleman
vapahtaaksensa
vihasta Jumalan
syntisen maailman.
