              Za opatrovanie dobré
vzdávame Ti chvály mnohé,
všemohúci Stvoriteľ náš,
že nás i svet zachovávaš.

Že i dnes a po dni všetky
chránil si nás - svoje dietky.
Dušu, telo opatroval,
mnohým dobrým obdaroval.

Teraz, keď už práce denné
boli zdarne dokončené,
odpočinúť sa chystáme
a prosíme Teba, Pane:

I tej blížiacej sa noci
maj nás v svojej božskej moci,
nás i každého verného
pre Ježiša, Syna svojho.

A keďže zjavne vidíme,
ako k smrti sa blížime,
zložme ťarchu hriechov, zlosti,
žime v Kristovej milosti.

Pomáhaj nám, milý Pane,
Tebe sa odovzdávame
so všetkým, čo sme a máme,
chráň nás, pokorne žiadame.
