              Za teba na kríži
z lásky som zomieral,
vylial tam svoju krv,
seba som v obeť dal.
Prijal si spásy zvesť.
Čím šíriš moju česť?

Chodil som na zemi,
v chudobe, v úzkosti,
aby si naveky
prebýval v radosti.
Všetkého som sa vzdal,
čo si mi za to dal?

Spásu som vydobyl,
premohol hriechu noc,
priniesol zmierenie,
k víťazstvám slávnym moc.
Všetko to vo mne máš,
čože mi za to dáš?

Venuj mi život svoj,
nájdeš ho, keď sa vzdáš.
Nie v svete, vo mne len
večný svoj poklad máš.
V moju sa službu daj
a vždy dosť na mne maj!
