Zas deň jeden z nášho žitia
zhasol, tmy sa stelú,
Bože, čuj, čo duše cítia,
a prijm' vďaku vrelú.

Viedol si nás, chránil milo,
sýtil prebohato,
a keď sa už zvečerilo,
buď Ti chvála za to!

Tvoja láska pokladom nám,
čo i vo tmách blaží,
a duch hľadí ku výšinám,
istý v Tvojej stráži.

Skloň sa ku nám, Otče milý,
praj nám svojich ramien,
sladkým spánkom osviež sily,
vzbuď nás v zdraví! Amen.
