              1. Zas pominul sa noci tieň
a z milosti mi svitol deň,
ja velebím ťa, Bože môj,
za život, silu, pokoj tvoj.

2. Dňom každým nové žehnanie
od teba duša dostane,
ty zmývaš hanbu mojich vín,
za ktoré trpel Boží Syn.

3. Daj v mysli mojej zrána hneď
zvesť o tej tvojej láske znieť
a dary Ducha zúroč sám,
na tvoju moc sa spolieham.

4. Aj dnes ma svojím Duchom veď,
nech nezvedie ma hriešny svet,
chcem v boji viery zotrvať
a víťazne ho dokonať.
