              Chvíľku len zastav sa
v Getsemane,
kde Ježiš trpel nevinne!
Zápasiť s hriechom šiel
na modlitbe
len z veľkej lásky
k tebe a mne.
Ježiš trpel nevinne
len z veľkej lásky
k tebe a mne.

Dívaj sa na Neho
v Getsemane,
kde v bôli čelil nástrahám!
Žiadal si spolu byť
s učeníkmi,
no v boji zostal
úplne sám.
V bôli čelil nástrahám,
no v boji zostal
úplne sám.

Pýtaj sa, prečo bol
v Getsemane
a musel s hriechom zápasiť!
Záchranca sveta sa obetoval,
by s Ním sme mohli
na veky žiť.
S hriechom musel zápasiť,
by s Ním sme mohli
na veky žiť.
