              Ó drahý Kriste, Pane môj,
smutné mi srdce upokoj,
ach, pohliadni na hriešnika,
keď v žiali hlbokom vzlyká,
ó Ježiši, ó Ježiši.

V živote som skúsil neraz,
čo cíti srdce i teraz:
keď veľká je núdza moja
najbližšia je pomoc Tvoja,
ó Ježiši ...

Len slovo Tvoje - liek pravý,
bolesti srdca uľaví
a v trápení ma pozdvihne,
uistí, že si vždy pri mne,
ó Ježiši ...

Verím, že Ty každý vzlyk môj
utíšiš a vrátiš pokoj
aj tento spev vypočuješ,
a z úzkosti ma vyvedieš,
ó Ježiši, ó Ježiši!
