              Özlediğim bir yer var,
Rab'bin vaat ettiği yer.
Orada rahat bulur canım,
Bittiğinde dünyadaki yolculuğum.

Kızıldeniz yarılır,
Eskiler arkamda kalır,
Göçerken yeni bir diyara,
Güvendiğim, götürür sonsuz hayata.

Gündüzleri buluttur,
Rab'bin gece ateş olur.
Yürürüm dünya denen çölde.
Korkmuyorum, çünkü giden Rab'dir önde.

Zaferimdir savaşta,
Engeller yıkar yolumda,
Bilirim yenemem düşmanı,
Olmazsa Tanrımızın kutsal adı.

Sonra erer özlemim,
Biter sıkıntı, elemim,
Sarsılmam, güvenirim Rab'be,
Vaatleri evet, amindir Mesih'te.
