              Čuj, aká prekrásna pieseň
rozlieha sa po nebi,
anjelov dnes sviatočný zbor
Pána Boha velebí.
Je to pieseň o radosti,
hovorí o spasení:
Sláva Bohu na výsosti,
pokoj ľuďom na zemi!

Pokoj, v ľuďoch zaľúbenie,
raj sa opäť otvoril,
veď ľudskému pokoleniu
Pán Boh spásu pripravil.
Sláva Bohu na výsostiach,
pokoj ľuďom na zemi
Plesaj každý v svojom srdci,
že sme v Kristu spasení.

Poďme všetci k svetlu spásy, opustime temnú noc,
nový deň sa láskou hlási, pohasína hriešna noc.
Bože, spevom vzývame Ťa všetci v svätom nadšení:
Buď Ti sláva na výsostiach, pokoj ľuďom na zemi.
