              Žije môj Pán!
Už pominula noc,
deň slávny svitol nám.
Zvíťazil On,
Boh dal Mu každú moc,
i ja Mu poctu vzdám.
Smrť nemohla Ho spútať,
ó, radosť všetkých dôb!
Nás naučil tiež dúfať
ten prázdny Jeho hrob.

Žije môj Pán!
On kráča predo mnou,
ja spolieham sa Naň.
Prevedie ma
i smrti pekla tmou
v ten nebeský svoj stan.
Hoc život v biede plynie
a dušu raní boj,
kto verí, nezahynie,
v Ňom nájde spásy zdroj.

Žije môj Pán!
On Vládca je a Kráľ,
má v nebi slávny trón.
Hriešny ten svet
Mu potupný kríž dal
a čakal Jeho skon.
Však Ježiš, Víťaz slávny,
vstal z mŕtvych v tretí deň!
On zlomil smrti brány,
aj mňa raz vzkriesi, viem!
