              Armon päivä jo
iltahan painuu,
Hengen kutsu myös
kohta vaikenee.
Kuule kirkasta
laulua joukon,
joka taivaaseen
kilvoittelee!

  /: Tahdothan,
  tahdothan
  päästä kotihin
  luo Jumalan?:/

Riennä, Hengen kun
kutsuvan kuulet.
Jätä kaikki, luo
Herran joudu vaan.
Ota ristisi,
Jeesusta seuraa.
Armon portti jo
pian suljetaan.

Virta Golgatan
runsaana kuohuu.
Sinut synnistä
puhdistaa se voi.
Jeesus eestäsi
kärsi ja kuoli,
sulle näin
elon iäisen toi.
