              1.	Bol smutný som a sám, radosť som nepoznal,
v putách hriechu som žil bez Boha sám.
Však vjeden krásny deň svit milosti som zrel
a lásku Božiu pocítiť som smel.
R: Vďaka, vďaka, vďaka, Pane môj, moje srdce spieva žalmy chvál.
Vďaka, vďaka, vďaka, Pane môj, za lásku, za radosť, za pokoj.
2.	Pán Ježiš hriech môj sňal, do srdca pokoj vlial,
za syna, dcéru prijal ma môj Pán.
Dnes radostne spievam a Jemu česť vzdávam,
o Ježišovej láske rozprávam.
3.	Nech celý svet to zvie, že Ježiš miluje,
že všetkým chce dať radosť, spasenie.
Nuž počuj, priateľ môj, Pán Ježiš chce byť tvoj,
chce učiniť ťa svojim dieťaťom.
