              Cuando de tus bondades, ¡oh, Dios mío!
La inmensa multitud contempla mi alma,
Atónito a tu vista me confundo
En amor, en respeto y alabanza.

Yo quisiera, Señor, a todas horas
Alzar mi voz en férvida plegaria;
Yo quisiera cantar tus maravillas,
Y que la tierra toda te alabará.
