              1. Den sobotní opět zavítal k nám,
z lásky jej daroval svým dětem Pán.
Stvořitel v šesti dnech dílo dokonal
a den sedmý posvětil, pro nás požehnal.

Ref.: Pomni na sobotní den svatý můj,
abys jej zachoval ty i dům tvůj.
V šesti dnech stvořil Bůh nebe i zem,
sedmý den požehnal k radosti všem.

2. V úctě a lásce vždy den Páně měj,
své všední záliby v něm odkládej,
pak radost v Bohu svém budeš stále mít,
požehnáním svým chce tě Pán tvůj obdařit.

3. Ve slově svém praví Pán laskavý,
co vše pro nás v nebesích připraví.
Jak šťastný již nyní je člověk ten,
který věrně zachová sobotní zde den.
