              Di langit berkilauan bintang
dengan cahyanya yang gerlap.
Gembala menjaga di padang,
kawanan ternak yang lelap.

Hai lihatlah langit terbuka,
angkasa menjadi terang.
Seorang malaikat t'lah tiba,
membawa berita senang.

Dan katanya pada gembala,
dengan suaranya yang jelas:
"Di kota Daud Tuhanmu lahir,
ke sanalah 'kau bergegas!"

Mereka meninggalkan domba,
serta pergi ke Betlehem.
Dicarinya Yesus di sana,
yang sungguhlah Raja Salam.
