              En jätä teitä
orvoiksi,
kun lähden
päältä maan,
vaan Lohduttaja
saapuvi,
Kuninkaan
pyhä lähetti,
luoksenne asumaan.

  Joko saanut sen
  olet kastehen,
  Hengen voiman
  tuon taivaallisen?
  Käyt silloin sä
  Herrasta todistamaan,
  viet sanomaa
  äärihin maan.

Oi Herran omat,
ottakaa
tää lahja vastahan!
Niin rientää
silloin syntinen
jo luokse
armon lähtehen,
luo ristin
Golgatan.

On taivaat
täynnä kaikille
nyt voimaa
helluntain.
Siis nöyrin mielin
käykää vaan
jo uusi voima
ottamaan,
tää lahja uskovain.
