              Gdy się wiara moja chwieje,
Błądząc w gęstej życia mgle,
Wznosząc wzrok swój na Jezusa
Szepcząc: „Panie, prowadź mnie!"

„Nie bój się, Jam zawsze z tobą!"
  Głos Jezusa wiernie brzmi.
  „Nie patrz na wzburzone fale,
Weź mą dłoń i ufaj Mi."

Gdym zmęczony życia znojem,
Dzień wiecznością zdaje się,
Znów spoglądam na Jezusa,
On posili, wzmocni mnie.

Gdy pokusy zwartym kołem
Zewsząd otaczają mnie,
Gdym już prawie zboczył z drogi,
Jezus z góry pomoc śle.

Kiedy stanę nad Jordanem,
Patrząc w jego ciemną toń,
Tam nad brzegiem będzie Jezus,
Aby podać mi Swą dłoń!
