              Görkemli bir ırmak Tanrı huzuru,
İlerler zaferle çağlayan suyu.
Eksiksiz akışı, daima gürleşir.
Eksiksiz suları, hep derinleşir.

Kalp Rab'de durdukça tam sevinç bulur,
  Va'dettiği gibi Rab verir huzur.

Kuvvetli eliyle bağrına basar,
Oradan ne şeytan, ne insan kapar.
Orada kederle kaygı bulunmaz,
Endişe telaş da ruha dokunmaz.

Acı, tatlı şeyler yukardan gelir,
Hepsini sevgiyle Rab bize verir.
Tam güven İsa'ya, her şeyi yapar,
Güvenirsen O'na, elinden tutar.
